Performance

The Klever A/T2 offers great ride comfort on-road and maintains a strong off-road capability for SUVs, light trucks, and 4×4 owners.

Certified with a three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMS), the tire is good for winter driving conditions as well as dry surfaces.

Its all-season tread design helps to give strong traction in a variety of conditions and is strongly “optimized” to reduce noise on the highway.

The AT2 is an all-weather all-terrain tire with great handling and comes at prices you will greatly admire.

The Klever A/T was designed to deliver a smooth, quiet ride without sacrificing all-terrain traction for drivers that spend more time on the road.

It is built with large tread blocks that help to provide a stable footprint while the all-season tread design helps to give strong traction in a variety of conditions.

The company explained that the initial rollout of the tire will be in 40 sizes, ranging from 15- to 20-inch fitments, with additional size expansions planned as industry and consumer demands.

Kenda spokesman said, “It has got to look the part and has to deliver.”

To proof the confidence reposed in the expected performance of Klever AT2 tire, Brandon Stotsenburg, Vice President of Automotive Sales has these to say:

“While our current Klever AT has been a proven performer, we allowed the market to drive the development points of the Klever AT2 and in doing so, we tasked our North American Technical Center to push the capabilities of our new all-terrain tire to the next level.”

“Part of our job as a tire manufacturer is to address the needs of the market and build upon the feedback we receive, not only from our retail and distributor partners, but from consumers as well,”

“Our 2nd generation of Kenda products are providing outstanding performance to achieve the benefit package that the consumer requires.”

  1. I am looking for tall narrow AT tires for my Ram 2500 4×4. The Kenda Klever AT2 KR628 is listed on your web site in size 275/80r18. When I go the Simple Tire web site it does not show the KR628 in 275/80R18, it has it in 275/70R18, that is my current size. The less aggressive AT KR 28 is listed on several suppliers web sites, I prefer the more aggressive KR 628 tread. Also I am considering the more aggressive Kenda Klever RT KR601 in 35×10.5R17, the draw back being having to switch to 17 inch wheels, and the aggressive tread might increase rolling resistance. Is the listing for a KR 628 in size 275/80R18 an error or should I keep looking for it?

    1. We apologize for the mistake, the Kenda Klever AT2 KR628 is not yet available in size 275/80R18. There must have been a mix up somewhere. However, you can check here for the Kenda Klever RT KR601 in size 35×10.5R17 LT

  2. New owner, of Nissan Titan XD. W/ 5.0 Cummins engine. Wanted to add a more appropriate tire with load rating e: for the load capacity that the original truck was scheduled to be able to safely haul. Best tire in the Des Moines Ia area for the all season design.
